It's been a while
For me right now it is all about Karma and trusting that the universe will provide for you. Treating people like you would like to be treated, being kind and as generous as you can. Seems simple but it is not always so.
It seems with life, well mine anyways, that things go forward and then come back a bit, go forward and go back a bit. Whilst I am used to this pattern I would like to think that one day the pattern of just going forward will be the dominant pattern. In saying that it is the times when things go backwards that you are forced to reflect and learn so maybe that pattern will never change.
I recently went on a holiday, a vacation, with some neighbours who have become good friends. One night over dinner I was reflecting to myself that just a few years ago I didn't know these people even though we eat, slept and lived less than 100 steps from each other. Now we are on the other side of the world celebrating one of our shared passions. To me this friendship shows that anything is possible and much of the happiness we are looking for is right there close to home.
Celebrating life, our passions and learning to have fun, no matter what age you are is fantastic and makes for great shared memories.
Also I was recently given a book by a friend, The author is Donald Miller - A million miles in A Thousand Years - I recommend that you read this book. It will change the way you look at your life.

Great film -
I went to the movies last night and saw - The Blind Side - it is a great true story about the spirit of what we are trying to achieve here. I won't spoil it for you. All I will say it that the world is a much better place because of the actions of some people to rise above the norm and make a difference in the real world.

Everyday in small ways
Sorry for the lack of postings. The movement has not been lost, just the postings took a break :)
Someone asked what this was all about the other day, nothing has changed from the original intention. That intention was to help make the world a better place through doing little or big things for other people, be they people you know or don't know. Then those people would do little or big things for other people they know or don't know. Then the cycle continues. It's a pretty exciting concept and everyone doesn't have to do too much to make a difference. All sounds very easy doesn't it.

You only have one life...
So why aren't we all making the most of every minute of everyday? Why do we get caught up in all the nonsense about the meaning of our life? Why can't we just live?
I am not sure of the reasons but I do know that the answer to these questions lays between our ears. We have the power to control our thoughts. We have the power to live our lives to the fullest we can with the means and resources we have available. Let's all cast off the things that keep us down. Let's tackle this one life we have with all the gusto that we can muster.
Live for now. Love for now. Enjoy yourself. Treat everyone as you want to be treated. I am sure by doing this you will live our mantra and be the change you want in the world.

June Gloom or June Bloom
The decision on how we make the most of everyday is up to us as individuals. How we look at everything that happens to us in a day, what affects our moods and how we react is totally within our power. Louise Hay says that we have the power to control our thoughts, this is so true. Taking the time to breath and think before reacting to daily events helps to take the negative emotions out of things. It is up to us to control these emotions and work in some positive response as much as we can. Slow down let your old conditioned responses go and focus on the breath before responding.

Act of kindness cards are moving around the world
